Factors Influencing Entrepreneurial Intention in Polytechnic Students
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the main factors influencing the entrepreneurial intention of polytechnic students. To obtain information, a questionnaire was validated and administered to a sample of 354 polytechnic students in four different departments at Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PSA). The data were analyzed using correlation analysis, descriptive analysis, and sorting. The same goes for the previous research (Hassan et al., 2020), which mentioned the method of relevance criteria and confirmatory factor analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The result was found that entrepreneurship education and financial support encourage the entrepreneurial intention of youngsters to venture into entrepreneurship. The result of this study mentions that entrepreneurship encouragement should focus on entrepreneurship education and financial support to shape the entrepreneurial attitude, which, indirectly, may further influence the entrepreneurial intention.
